The Element E50 fire extinguisher is the compact, professional‑grade model in Element’s solid‑state line, delivering 50 seconds of continuous fire‑suppression discharge—over 5× longer than a traditional 5‑lb extinguisher. It uses a potassium‑based clean agent that stops fire chemically rather than mechanically, producing no mess, no residue, and no pressurized blast. The most popular model. Offering 50 seconds of fire fighting protection, E50 is recommended for professional use (automotive, power sports, garage, marine, etc.). Element extinguishers are suitable for use on small fires and for protecting supplementary risks. Internationally tested and certified.
Element E50 — Compact, Clean, Long‑Duration Fire Suppression

50‑second discharge — more than 5× longer than a typical 5‑lb extinguisher.
Compact & lightweight — approx. 10.75" tall, 1.2" diameter, 230 g (0.5 lb); stores almost anywhere.
Zero‑pressure discharge — will not spread oil or liquid fires.
Clean agent — non‑toxic, non‑corrosive, and leaves no residue; safe for electronics and interiors.
Weatherproof — tested from −58°F to +176°F; unaffected by humidity, vibration, or wet environments.
Maintenance‑free — no service required; solid chemical has no effective expiration.
Made in Italy — CE, TUV, and maritime‑authority certified.
Fire class coverage — effective on A, B, C, and cooking‑oil/grease fires; not recommended for live coal/wood campfires.

Element E50 fire extinguishers cannot be priority or express shipped because it contains a reactive chemical composition restricted by safety regulations. Priority shipping services often utilize air transport, and national and international safety rules prohibit air shipping for these fire safety devices, limiting them to surface/ground transport only.
The Element fire extinguisher is not approved for use in small private aircraft and must not be relied upon as an onboard aviation fire‑suppression device. Element units are not FAA‑certified for aircraft fire‑extinguishing equipment, and operators should use only aviation‑rated extinguishers specifically certified for cockpit and cabin environments.

For vehicles with two vacuum control valves. The Model B4 Controller is available as either a two-way exhaust controller or a three-way exhaust controller suitable for installation in harsh environments such as the engine bay of a high-performance sports car. Normally aspirated vehicles can use the three-way controller whereas turbo-charged cars should not as it may be detrimental to the turbocharger. Depending on the application, the controller offers up to three modes of operation:
Normal Mode: The vehicle controls the operation of the exhaust bypass valves. This is the stock mode.
Always Open Mode: Forces the valves to remain open at all times, overriding the vehicle's ECU.
Always Closed Mode: Forces the valves to remain closed at all times. This mode should not be used with turbo-charged cars and by default will be disabled for turbo-charged vehicles.
If your vehicle is the Ferrari 488 (not the Pista) or the Ferrari 458, consider also getting the Forza Extension Cable as this provides additional installation flexibility when installing the controller module on the car. Click here for more information.
Please note that Ferrari’s equipped with GPFs may not be compatible with an exhaust controller. This includes the Ferrari 812 manufactured in 2020 or later.
You can view the vehicle compatibility matrix here. If your vehicle is not listed, contact us for compatibility.
Note: Due to supply chain differences, the controller may ship with a different style remote fob than depicted.
The Model B4-FP controller is a 2-way exhaust controller that is designed for installation in extreme environments as one would encounter in the engine bay of high performance sports cars. The B4-FP is specifically designed for use in motor cars with very sensitive vacuum control technologies and dual vacuum solenoid valves such as the Ferrari 488 Pista. The installation kit includes two additional vacuum control valves so that the electrical circuit for the controller is completely segregated from the circuit controlling the existing vacuum control valves. This design allows control of the exhaust bypass valves without any error conditions or trouble codes. And you can choose the Normal or Always Open mode at vehicle start. The controller provides two modes of operation:
Normal Mode: The vehicle controls operation of the exhaust bypass valves. This is the stock mode.
Always Open Mode: Forces the valves to remain open at all times, overriding the vehicle's ECU.
Please read in the additional info (below) disclaimers in the vehicle compatibility section.
Note: Due to supply chain differences, the controller may ship with a different style remote fob than depicted.
If you require a replacement Y-Cable, you may order it here. Note: Each kit includes one or two Y-cables depending on kit model.
Optional for the 458 and 488. The kits for the 458 and 488 include one extension cable. This options is for a 2nd extension cable which will provide greater reach and allow more installation flexibility.
Illuminated LED push-button switch. An alternative to using the remote fob. Button raised when off, flush when on. 16mm diameter.
The mini-cat is designed to be inserted into the rear O2 sensor bung to help eliminate error codes. Includes a jam nut spacer and a copper compression washer.
O2 sensor extender with adjustable orifices. Four different size orifices to vary the exhaust gas flow to the rear O2 sensor. Includes a copper compression washer.
The snap ring pliers in the photos are for illustrative purposes only.
They are not included.
The O2 extender is used to move the rear oxygen sensor outside of the exhaust stream, which can improve the accuracy of the oxygen sensor’s readings. The most common use is to place the sensor into a pocket of “dead gas” which can eliminate or reduce the occurrence of the check engine light if the sensor is detecting faults with the catalytic converter(s).
Note: The use of this device may not be legal for road use as it may jeopardized the integrity of the car’s emissions system.

Supplementary fire‑risk zones where long discharge time is essential
The E100 is engineered for facilities, workshops, fleets, and environments where extended suppression time and reliability are critical. Using Element’s potassium‑based clean‑agent technology, it interrupts the chemical chain reaction of fire without releasing pressurized gas, powder, or foam.
Element E100 fire extinguishers cannot be priority or express shipped because it contains a reactive chemical composition restricted by safety regulations. Priority shipping services often utilize air transport, and national and international safety rules prohibit air shipping for these fire safety devices, limiting them to surface/ground transport only.
