Similar to the Model B4-FP, the B4-FP / A controller is a 2-way exhaust controller that is designed for installation in extreme environments as one would encounter in the engine bay of high performance sports cars. The B4-FPa is specifically designed for use in motor cars with a single vacuum solenoid valve such as the the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, and other motor cars with very sensitive vacuum control technologies.  The installation kit includes one additional vacuum control valves so that the electrical circuit for the controller is completely segregated from the circuit controlling the existing vacuum control valves.  This design allows control of the exhaust bypass valves without any error conditions or trouble codes.  And you can choose the Normal or Always Open mode at vehicle start. The controller provides two modes of operation:

• Normal Mode: The vehicle controls operation of the exhaust bypass valves.  This is the stock mode.

• Always Open Mode: Forces the valves to remain open at all times, overriding the vehicle's ECU.

The exhaust controller is suitable for installation in harsh environments such as the engine bay of a high-performance sports car.

Depending on the application, the controller offers up to three modes of operation:

• Normal Mode: The vehicle's ECU controls the operation of the exhaust bypass valves. This is the stock mode.

• Always Open Mode: Forces the valves to remain open at all times, overriding the vehicle's ECU.

• Always Closed Mode: Forces the valves to remain closed at all times. Not available on Lotus. Not available on turbocharged cars.

The mini-cat is designed to be inserted into the rear O2 sensor bung to help eliminate error codes.  Includes a jam nut spacer and a copper compression washer.

O2 sensor extender with adjustable orifices.  Four different size orifices to vary the exhaust gas flow to the rear O2 sensor.  Includes a copper compression washer.

The O2 extender is used to move the rear oxygen sensor outside of the exhaust stream, which can improve the accuracy of the oxygen sensor’s readings. The most common use is to place the sensor into a pocket of “dead gas” which can eliminate or reduce the occurrence of the check engine light if the sensor is detecting faults with the catalytic converter(s).
