The Model B4-FP controller is a 2-way exhaust controller that is designed for installation in extreme environments as one would encounter in the engine bay of high performance sports cars. The B4-FP is specifically designed for use in motor cars with very sensitive vacuum control technologies and dual vacuum solenoid valves such as the Ferrari 488 Pista.  The installation kit includes two additional vacuum control valves so that the electrical circuit for the controller is completely segregated from the circuit controlling the existing vacuum control valves.  This design allows control of the exhaust bypass valves without any error conditions or trouble codes.  And you can choose the Normal or Always Open mode at vehicle start. The controller provides two modes of operation:

  • Normal Mode: The vehicle controls operation of the exhaust bypass valves.  This is the stock mode.

  • Always Open Mode: Forces the valves to remain open at all times, overriding the vehicle's ECU.

  • Plug-and-Play ... 100% Reversible

    The kit is completely plug-and-play. Power for the controller comes from the vehicle's fuse box. A fuse tap is included to obtain power so no wiring modifications are required. Since no modification are required to install, if you ever want to remove the controller the installation is 100% reversible.

    Start-up option user configurable for Always Open or Normal Mode (ECU Control).

    Simplified installation is straight forward. The small size makes it easy to find a suitable location to install the controller.

    Locate and install the included two new vacuum control valves.

    Attach the included new vacuum hoses.

    Connect the two control cables to the new vacuum control valves and the controller module.

    Connect to the power source.

    Once installation is complete, you use one button on your remote transmitter to open the exhaust bypass valves and the other button to close the valves and return control to the car ... and, you also have the ability to configure a manual on/off switch that you can mount inside your vehicle.

    • F8 Tributo * Disclaimer - The controller product may interfere with the management of the vehicle's Gas Particulate Filter (GPF) and under some circumstances with the F8 Tributo may give you a check engine light. To avoid these error conditions, an OBD CEL delete device, such as the Novitec Tectronic CEL Delete Device, is recommended.

    Lamborghini (the FP will work fine with Lamborghini, but the FPa is the better choice as it contains only a single new Pierburg valve.
